Multimedia Advance Technology

Task 6

At this point everything was to have been finished and rendered. However the final render was not good even after several attempts to improve on it.

Task 5

After we had done making the basic shapes we had to start applying materials. This had to do with texture and color to add volume to the objects. We also had to introduce the other details into the booth. I modeled some tables and chairs which resemble an old school diner, also included a mustang simulator, a car tire and a model of the mustang.

Task 4

After sketching our designs we then proceeded with the modeling of our booths. We begun with the basic shapes and structures.

Task 3

For our third assignment we had to design our booths. This was to be done after a theme had been decided for the proposed exhibition. My theme was old school and my booth design was to have some old school element it was to look like a garage but with a little bit of style.

Multimedia Advance Technology

Task 2

For our second assignment we had to find some pre-existing booths and analyze. This was to give us ideas on how we were going to determine the design our own booths.

Multimedia Advance Technology

Task 1

For this task we were supposed to find and decide on the product we were making a booth for. I chose Ford Mustang. After we had to research on the product know how many generations the product has survived.

Multimedia Advance Technology

In the beginning of the semester we discussed what was needed for us to do during the semester. We were told we had to design and 3D model a booth for a particular product of our choice. Then we planned on how we were going to work out the semester. The steps we were going to take and how we were going to spread the work load over the semester especially since it was a short semester.
We were also advised to explore any software of our choice to produce a desirable end result. This module seemed interesting from its description and with all eagerness I was ready to get to work.
However this would be a little difficult for me or so I thought since 3D work is not one of my strongest suits however I was ready to work towards it.

Digital Photography and Imaging

Task 3

For this task we had to experiment with some lightning and to get familiar with the studio.

1light photography

Here we also learnt how to use one light as well as using a reflector.

2lights Photography

Here we learnt how to use two light sources in the studio and to understand why.

3light Photography

For this 3 studio light were used

Digital Photography and Imaging

Task 2

For this task we were supposed to think of one key word and produce a series of images to explain the chosen key word.
My key word chosen was Responsibilities and I set out to take pictures to explain my chosen keyword.
With every knowledge gathered from the first class I just employed them in the taking of my photo series.

Digital Photography and Imaging

Task 1

For this first task we had to go out to Kuala Lumpur to take some street photos. In the beginning it seemed easy and fun. On reaching Kuala Lumpur it was not what we really expected. I was able to gather some images though how the challenge for me was with being inconspicuous and had to improve on my skill.

Introduction

To begin with for this model, we were made to understand the different types of cameras such as low range eg DSLR Canon cameras and medium range such as Hasselblad cameras. We were also made to understand how the camera works and techniques as well as element which go into making a good photograph.

Elements of Photography

Elements include lines, colors, shapes, opposites as well as other elements which a photographer includes in his or her images to create amazing compositions.

We were also made to understand things on the camera that aids in taking good pictures such as shutter speed, ISO and aperture. We also learnt how to focus and how to take pictures in few modes such as manual mode which allows the photographer the chance to focus on his or preferred subject.
Different lenses were looked at as well camera equipments.
The taking care of the camera was also taught to us since a photographer can only be as good as his camera.

We were also prepped on what was required for task one and how to go about taking our first street photos to include some of the techniques and elements we had learnt about.
