Reflection
At the end of the day I learnt the value of team work. It is important to have a team that would be ready to work with you to achieve a set goal. I thank my friends and my lecturers for their enthusiasm especially when things were a little tough. The exhibition was successful and I was happy I could express my ideas in such a unique way.
Limitations
However I would like to point out some limitations such as cost and time. Some ideas had to be exempted from the final art work to save cost and to meet up with the dead line. Some materials such as the tint film did not give the desired reflective effect. In future when I wish too expand this project corrections would be made and other materials would be explored.

Final Year Project
The Exhibition
The exhibition was from the 8th to 10th of August. During the installation of my art work I had to stay over night at the venue to resolve minor short comings such as the positioning of the projectors. However amidst anxiety and nervousness the installation was made and on the exhibition day everything was ready.

Print outs and Merchandise
After constructing the box the next thing done was to make the necessary print outs and merchandise. I printed my infographic board and poster. The merchandise made were t-shirts and stickers.

The Box
The box had dimensions for 2 sides as 7x7 whiles its remaining 4 sides as 7x8 feet. It was assembled and constructed by the aid of my lecturers and friends. It was quiet a cumbersome task but we were able to fix it up.
The box was painted blue on the outside to give it a cool and attractive effect whiles the inside was pitch black and dark to aid in the projection and give it the required effect needed. The painting of the box was done by me and one of my course mates.

After buying the needed materials I begun to work on my audio and visual. My audio was recorded in a studio and was of a narrative written by me. It had to be carefully composed which I did after so many adjustments so I could achieve my desired results.
The visual was of two parts the first was motion graphics which produced a dreamy / "high" effect. While the second of horror manipulated photos to show the downside of substance abuse. The visual was created in Adobe After Effects.

After getting the inspiration and references necessary for my idea, I begun to pre-plan. The first thing I did was to sketch down all my ideas and experiment on them.
I had to get dimension right and pin point what and what where going to be valuable in the project.

Idea Development
The idea for my final project was one carefully thought of. It was developed whiles watching documentaries on some of the top designers in our world today. One of these artists Es Devlin peaked my interest.
Es is a stage designer who uses new media technology in a creative way to achieve her work. Her technique is unique and has made her the best at what she does. She has made stages for Beyonce, Kanye West, Lady Gaga among other celebrities and has also designed for Channel the fashion icon.
Her work inspired my idea to experiment and try to use new media forms to complete this project.

Before the project begun a chat was made to show the flow of work and how I was going to proceed. This chat was to guide both me and my lecturer / fyp supervisor to understand what I wanted to achieve and how I planned to achieve it.
After making the chat, preparations towards the end result begun accompanied with serious work.

Typography
Task 4
For this task we had to make some kinetic typography with information pertaining to our final year project. Once again I used After Effects to achieve my outcome.

In this task we were to come up with our own typography or font to use as our logo and after add some motion to it. This task was link with our final year project.

In task two we learnt about the history of typography. We learnt typography developed from cave man drawings to, hieroglyphs to demotics then Phoenician then Roman then Greek to the industrial revolution then to the 21st century.
After this we used various software to create kinetic typography to explain our findings. Each student used a software they were more familiar with I used after effects.

For task 1 we were to analyze some popular logo brands and i identify if the fit their purpose or identity of the company. Some of the companies I analyzed included H&M, WACOM and Ecobank.
