CRITICAL THINKING

NAVIGATE ME.  

This is a very challenging task, in this task I am required to make a sort of map using words only. It is to be in a sequence as if I am directing someone to a particular place. I must also support my work with pictures as proof that I have actually been to these places.
     Now as someone who hardly leaves campus I found it hard to try to find a suitable place in mind. I have been to places but I had no images connecting to them and I had totally forgotten the directions to these places.
      Finally I set out on a journey by train to two very beautiful and interesting places with two of my friends. These places were Serdang  and nu K.L. sentral. It was exciting and fun and I was able to capture images of these places. On arrival back on campus I made my map with words.
     This task though fun really opened my horizon to other parts of Malaysia and this was a wonderful experience for me.

Reflection

  I learnt from this task that there various ways of carrying out a message or information without using images but with word and the right typography I can get my thoughts, ideas and intended message as a graphic designer across very easily.

This task has made me understand that I do not need only images to depict moments or events and also to give direction but with type fonts and their right arrangements, I can easily do so. It a principle which would be of great use to me now and in my professional world to help me become a very good,  broad and creative designer since creativity is mainly what this task is about.
