3D Character and Environment Design for Animation
After rendering my models I saved them as images after I exported them into Adobe photoshop then did some cropping to come out with a final poster. My movie is about a guy and girl who crossed the world to find love and finally met at a bus stop.

After modeling I applied color by selecting faces and assigning new materials, after I applied lighten to my work from the rendering options after I rendered my work.

After my sketches I traced them out in Adobe illustrator after I sent them to maya and begun modeling. I used tools such as the polygon tool to follow the sketch up to attain desired shapes. Vectors and edged were very important in the processes to achieve desired shapes and also joining duplicates together.

Limitations
My first limitation I
encountered was with the making of the motion tween, this is because I did not
fully understand the concept of motion tween.
The second was with creating
the buttons I could not click on the set element such as the title, the face
and the hand with the cards to take me to their respective designated pages. To
solve this issue I created a few invisible buttons which change color once the
mouse pointer goes over it to indicate that is clickable.
The third one is I wish I
had more time so I can learn how to make more advanced posters of this sort.
Lesson
learned
I was initially a bit
confused based on the fact that I did not know what to do and all my peers
seemed to be ahead of me. I was also scared because I did not have the flash
software on my laptop and the semester was fast approaching the end and I had
not even started with my interactive poster.
However I decided to devote
more time spending hours sometimes without eating in the mac lab in order to
get my work done.
This has showed me that hard
work pays off and that there is always a way out of every difficult situation.
Conclusion
In a nutshell this module
has been very interesting and fun despite all the set backs I encountered. It
is an idea or innovation I desire to exploit and since I have now been
introduced to it I can use the knowledge I have at least do make lives simple
as I acquire more knowledge about this poster.
