Colour 2 and 3 Dimensions and Writing for Designers

Separation

This refers to the distinguishing of different objects. After you collect your pigments, the next step is for you to distinguish the pigment colours and this is done in your studio or workshop. In my case I happened to have some rocks with two different colours, red and yellow. Since it was the red pigment I wanted to process first, I had to separate the red part if the rock from the yellow so that when the red rock is processed I would have a uniformed colour. The tool used here for this job was mainly a hammer and a small clay bowl.
